Hisabra grew out of an accounting firm, and it shows. Follow one client through the stages a practice goes through.

  1. Send a private link. The client uploads their licence, IDs and other documents without needing a login. The link works for 30 days.

  2. Record KYC and an AML check. The check scores up to five risk factors and gives a rating. A client cannot be approved without a risk rating and the required documents.

  3. Choose the client and one of 15 ready services, from audit and bookkeeping to VAT, corporate tax and company formation. Stages are created for you. Assign the people.

  4. Each stage lists the information and documents it needs. Ask the client for what is missing with a message that carries their private link.

  5. Approvals and requests are recorded on the engagement, with who did what and when. Files are kept with the engagement and listed in Documents.

  6. The calendar shows UAE VAT, corporate tax, audit and licence dates worked out from each client's profile. Confirm dates with the authority.

You decide who sees what. Changes leave a trace.

Connected does not mean open to everyone. Give each person a role, close the books on past periods and keep a record of who changed what.

  • Roles for each company

    Nine roles decide what each person can open and do. Each company is kept apart from every other, and people see only the companies they were invited to.

  • Closed periods

    Set a "books closed up to" date and nothing can be posted or changed before it. You can also make issued invoices read-only after a number of days.

  • A trail that shows changes

    Each entry in the audit trail is chained to the one before it. If history is altered, the chain no longer matches.

  • Checks on the books

    The Books check looks for inconsistencies in the ledger and lets an administrator repair them. Every report runs from the same ledger.

  • A backup you take yourself

    The company owner can download everything in one file, including uploaded documents, and restore it later with a safety copy kept first. Backups are taken when you ask. Hisabra does not schedule them.

Who is Hisabra for?

Small and medium businesses that sell, buy, keep stock or deliver services, and accounting and audit firms that look after many clients. It is built with the UAE and the wider Gulf in mind, and works in English, Arabic, Urdu and Kurdish (Sorani).

Which apps are included?

Accounting, sales and clients, inventory and purchasing, people and attendance, projects and tasks, client engagements for firms, documents, chat and audio meetings. Every plan includes all of them, and a company can switch off what it does not use.

Is there a free plan?

No. Every workspace starts with a 14-day trial of every app, with no card. After that you choose Standard or Custom. If you do nothing, the workspace becomes read-only and you can still download everything.

How long does setup take?

You can open a workspace in a few minutes. Your business type adds a starting chart of accounts, workflows and tasks. Moving years of history from another system takes longer and depends on your files.

Can I move my existing books in?

Yes, from CSV or Excel files, with guides for Zoho Books, QuickBooks and Tally. It is a file import, not a live link, and every row is checked before it is saved.

Does it work in Arabic, Urdu and Kurdish?

Yes. The app and this website are available in English, Arabic, Urdu and Kurdish (Sorani), and the layout turns right to left. Each person picks their own language.

Who can see my data?

Only the people you invite, and only the apps their role allows. Each company is kept apart from every other. See the security page for what is and is not offered.

Does it handle VAT and e-invoicing?

VAT, yes: set your country's rate and your tax number, and the VAT summary report gives you the figures for your return. Hisabra can also build UAE e-invoices and send them through an accredited provider you connect, but this has been tested only with a training provider, so ask us before you rely on it.

What does payroll cover?

Payroll runs post to your books and produce payslips and a payroll register. Statutory deductions are not calculated, and the salary file for WPS has not been checked with a bank, so confirm it with yours.

Can I leave and take my data?

Yes. The owner can download one backup file with everything in the company, including uploaded documents, at any time.
